Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye are inseparable siblings. Hawk's Eye develops from Tiger's Eye. Through a type of weathering process (oxidation) of certain components, these change and with them the color. Both are mined in open pits and are located just a few meters below the earth's surface.
Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye are among the oldest talismans, mysterious and powerful, revered and feared. They were inserted by the Egyptians into the eye sockets of the statues of their deities to express divine visions.
