Landscape Jasper

The name Jasper is derived from the Greek "iaspis" (meaning: speckled stone) and has its origins in the Orient. Jasper comes in a wide variety of colors and forms due to the admixture of different foreign materials such as clay or iron oxide. This accounts for the numerous synonyms and trade names.
This piece of jewelry is made of Landscape Jasper, which has only been found in South Africa to date.
Hildegard von Bingen said of Jasper: Jasper makes a person capable, intelligent, and skilled in rhetoric if it is worn on the body and warmed.

Tourmalated Quartz

Tourmalated Quartz is a rock crystal with inclusions of black Tourmaline (Schorl). The formation of Tourmalated Quartz is quite interesting, as it primarily arises through pegmatitic formation. This means that Tourmaline crystals first "grow", which are then enveloped by rock crystal in a later phase.
It is said to have been considered a stone of harmony in ancient China, capable of balancing the opposing forces of Yin and Yang in its owner, thus contributing particularly well to inner harmony and balance.
