HEMATITE

Even in ancient Egypt, hematite was valued as a stone that radiated peace and was believed to absorb negative energy. When the mineral is ground, a reddish powder is obtained. Since it is found in the earth, the ancient Greeks believed it was the blood of the soil, which earned it the still very common name "bloodstone." Due to its strong metallic luster, it was used as a finely polished mirror in antiquity. As a talisman, hematite protects against the evil eye and warns of impending dangers in dreams. Here, in combination with hand-hammered 950 silver, which is distinguished by its particular purity. It is hammered into shape by hand and is intended to further enhance the effect of the stones.
