Landscape Jasper
The name Jasper is derived from the Greek "iaspis" (meaning: speckled stone) and has its origins in the Orient. Jasper comes in a wide variety of colors and forms due to the admixture of different foreign materials such as clay or iron oxide. This accounts for the numerous synonyms and trade names.This piece of jewelry is made of Landscape Jasper, which has only been found in South Africa to date.
